She started the business  as a means to provide healthy, local, sustainable foods and be on the water with her family living our Alaska life.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis seaweed is sustainably wild harvested in Southeast Alaska. Each piece is\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003e inspected and hand picked at the height of Alaska's short growing season. It’s natural level of vitamin C increases the bioavailability of iron.  \u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e30-50% of nori’s dry weight is protein and much of the rest of it is digestible fiber.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eYou simply can’t find a more concentrated source of iodine!
