A very special collaboration between Jen Johnson of Pots by Jen in Chugiak, Alaska and Foundroot.
Our Favorite Mug is big enough that we can sit for a while without having to immediately get up for more. It is flat on the bottom with a wide base so the dog/cat/kid/partner/our clumsy self can't knock it over easily. The top is tapered to keep beverages warmer longer. Our hand wraps around the body comfortably, slipping through the handle, to keep our fingers warm in the early morning hours before the fire really gets going.
Alaskans take hot beverages very seriously.
This is what we told Jen we wanted and she took all our quirky requests and made pure beauty. These are all hand thrown by the endlessly talented Jen Johnson in her ceramics studio and thus, are all unique and different. Stamped with the Foundroot leaf logo and a collaborative logo underneath. We played with some glaze ideas so there are very limited runs of certain ones.
