These Blue Plate Specials will be available for pickup during the Dalton City Limits event at the Southeast Alaska State Fair on Wednesday, July 12th from 6-8pm.
We made tamales! There is a pork rojo (red chili), chicken chili verde (green chili), and a mole black bean wrapped in heirloom masa corn flour. Two tamales per plate served with elote corn salad topped with cotija cheese and Burlap and Barrel black lime and chili spice mix, homemade mole black beans, and a simple lime vinegar slaw. Barnacle Foods Bullwhip hot sauce on the side. We did our best to make these not spicy for fun for all ages.
This is gluten free. There is flour everywhere. Eat responsibly!
This meal can be VEGAN! We will give you two mole black bean tamales, a vegan version of the elote salad and it will have extra elote and slaw instead of the beans. Please put a note on your order at checkout.
