A Japanese heirloom or dento yasai variety, Kyoto No. 3 is highly regarded by chefs and gardeners for its superior appearance, taste, and texture. Barrel-shaped heads with blanched light green leaves can mature to over 7lbs in ideal conditions. Crips and nutritious leaves have a mild, sweet flavor that is more concentrated than Napa Cabbage and does well in slaws, salads, or in kimchi.
