We love handmade things and that leaves lots of room for variation. Sometimes the candles don't quite fit the holder or the holder doesn't quite fit the candles. This old school solution has helped us with many a Shabbat or dinner candle. Just place a dime-sized portion of Stick-Um onto the candle base, and then press and twist it into the holder. It provides a firm grip without getting melted wax all over the holder to chip out later or, heaven forbid, the candle tipping over. It's kind of silly but we like it and we like the tiny old timey tin it comes in.
