Maturity: 75 days from transplant
Known for its unique carrot-like foliage, Silvery Fir Tree is an exceptional Russian heirloom introduced by Seed Savers International in 1995. Dwarf determinate plants reach 2-3' with 3-5 oz. flattened, round tomatoes with nice tangy flavor. Does well in containers but small feathery leaves will wilt if they are not watered regularly. Certainly not a beefsteak but definitely the largest and beefiest of all our tomatoes and will reach maturity even in a cooler summer. Like all tomatoes in the north, best grown under covering for warmth and protection.
