A tried and true broccoli named for Waltham, MA where it was bred by the University of Massachusetts around 1950. The dwarf, compact plants produce a nice medium-sized heads with lots of big side shoots after the main harvest that will continue producing for upwards of 4 weeks afterwards as long as you can keep up with picking. Bred to withstand increasing cold of fall. Heads and shoots freeze well for winter storage.
