Need a host gift? Olive oil is the new wine, my friends, and olive oil doesn't get any better than this. Farmers across Palestine harvest their olives in small batches and bring them to press from the beginning of the olive harvest in October through the end in December. Each batch carries its own distinctive flavor and when combined create a special blend for the season that becomes their family’s signature olive oil. Canaan honors this age-old tradition by collecting olive oil from the spicy bite of the early harvest to the mild finish toward the end of the harvest. Jenin is their signature olive oil collected from small-scale farmers who live in villages surrounding the Palestinian city of Jenin. Jenin olive oil hosts a diverse range of flavors that will add distinction to any salad, spread, or special meal.
