If we were to be stranded somewhere and need to fend for ourselves in the wild with only one tool, it would be a Hori Hori knife. THIS Hori Hori knife. Hori Hori roughly translates to “dig dig” and is a classic and versatile Japanese gardening tool that we have relied on since we first learned to garden.

The Hori Hori Ultimate has a heat-tempered 6 ¾"stainless steel blade with a rust-resistant doubled edge. The serrated side easily cuts through thick cabbage stems and the blade comes to a sharp point to dig dandelion roots out of hardpacked soil. The blade seamlessly fits into a thick, durable walnut handle that is strong enough to pound in tent stakes with its stainless steel flat pommel base.

Measure planting depth with the handy inch marks along the front. A twine cutter doubles as a bottle opener, so you can enjoy a refreshing beverage of  after long day of stringing peas. This tool does it all.
