An heirloom turnip that stands the test of time. 4–6" round white roots have crowns dipped in pink and purple. Flavorful greens are delicious sautéed and roots will store well through the winter. This variety has been carefully developed for exceptional flavor and tenderness. Use in roasted root veggie mixes, alongside potatoes in a gratin, or paired with your best roast. A staple crop and true subsistence food in the north. Keep under row covering until at least July to prevent root maggots.
