Nutscene patented the first "Pull from Centre" spool of green garden twine, which was "Not Seen" hence the name Nutscene (with a Scottish accent). Their twine is produced in the same small factory in Angus, Scotland on US built machinery. No plastic in any of their products and they have an all female workforce.
We used to be able to get used burlap coffee sacks from a local roastery and then they became a hot commodity over the years and we had to start sourcing elsewhere for this critical garden tool. We find a good jute sack endlessly useful for storing produce, lining bins, gathering debris, sack races, laying out veggies to cure, farm chic decor, mulch, and weed suppressant. Jute is a plant, making this a vegan and biodegradable product.
