Opinel has set the gold standard for high quality knives since the family company designed their first folding knife in 1892. All of their knives are still manufactured in the heart of the Alps in their factory in Chambéry, France.
The N°7 Junior is the perfect tool for the future gardener, chef, mushroom hunter, and outdoor enthusiast in your life. This is the same high quality knife as the regular N°7 but features a round ended blade for added safety. Note that this is still a sharp knife and young users should be supervised at all time.
Like all Opinel knives, the N°7 Junior is made with Sandvik stainless steel for its anti-corrosive properties thanks to the addition of chrome and requires no special maintenance. Its carbon content of at least 0.40% gives excellent cutting edge. It easily opens and locks closed with Opinel's patented Vibrobloc Locking System for repeated use and safety as you go about your work and play. The lightweight varnished beechwood handle is strong and durable, made from sustainably managed French forests, and rounded to fit every hand.
