Our sister gifted us a leather cast iron handle cover years ago and we have loved it to bits-- literally. It has stood up to constant use and abuse in a kitchen that almost solely uses cast iron skillets to cook. This unique, yet simple design has a folded open-end construction that allows the guards slip on and off, extending its life and allowing the guards to fit around handles of most shapes and sizes. They can be used with both pot and pan handles and come off easily for when you are throwing your frittata in the oven. The leather is thick and durable with a single strong rivet at the end, preventing stitching from coming apart and staying safe for years of use. Really gorgeous and useful addition to any cast iron kitchen.
